Switzerland is So Lovely…

This country is clean and cold and lovely! I took train from Rome to Milan and then to Interkaken, a small town famous of its northern wall sight, Jungfrau. During the train journey to Interlaken, the views are amazing!

Everywhere in this town I could find snows, no wonder it was up to minus degrees, so cold.. This very tranquile town doesn’t seem to have crowd even in the town center, we hardly also found a bus so we walked across the road full of snows to find the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, I found my room was big but then it was extremely cold because I thought the heater didn’t work that well, damn it. It was Christmas eve that night, so I decided not to stay in my very-cold room instead I had chats with friends in the lobby, where it was very warm with the bonfire and there was a big christmas tree with a lot of people excited to celebrate that happy moment drinking wine. It was lovely to see them, family gathering together.. I really miss being home, really :(

I had a freezing-sleep! Yes, cause really the heater was crap. December 25th, me and friends were soooo excited to go… SKIING! :D Jungfrau mountain is one of the best destination in Switzerland and it is best reached from Interlaken. I took train to go to the top of the mountain, and the view, you’ll always guess, it’s breathtaking! Finally arriving at the top, I realized playing ski is NOT easy at all.. So I decided to go sledging yaaay! It’s like I sit on the sledge and then slide down thourgh the hill of snow. If people know me, they’d say “No, you got no nerve to go on sledging”. But ya that’s true, I just thought it was way too dangerous, all of my friends were then playing happily. I was pissed off -_-

I took cable car going to the mountain top, and this is the view..

It’s Jungfrau! Me, snows, people sledge, and..me with the sledge!

Interlaken was so exciting, though you might think I didn’t have any fun enjoying sledging but I saw people skiing, ice skating, and sledging and the view and aah everything! Too bad only a day, but the cold journey hasn’t ended yet…

Zürich was the second city to visit! First word for this one: BEAUTIFUL! Not only it is clean and fresh but also the city is well-organized in terms of transportation, the stores, the public facilities, train station, etc. The lakes, the top-town-sights, the old-architectured-branded-shops in its old town area, the Lindt and Sprüngli delicious chocolate stores, and everything :)

Too bad that day was Christmas day so everything was closed, just went sight-seeing. Pictures are…stunning! Au revoir, lovely Switzerland!
